increased access to broadband in Adams County, Pa.

The Broadband Taskforce was established after the February 2021 Virtual @Home Summit on Broadband. Its 18 members first met on March 22, 2021.

Representatives from a cross-section of industries have joined forces to engage in critical discussions about supporting Adams County residents by bringing quality broadband access to the area. These members include wireless and fiber internet providers, leaders from nonprofit organizations and educational institutions, economic development professionals, county and state government officials, and interested community members.

In late summer 2021, Adams County officials started its own Broadband initiative focused on developing and delivering affordable, high-speed internet services for all unserved and underserved areas of the County. To learn more about the County’s efforts click the button below.
